Ebba Pettersson's Private School is a non-profit foundation school. We are a K-9 school with approximately 650 students. The school has a long history as one of Gothenburg's oldest primary schools. Since the early 2000s, the school has been located in Järnbrott and is characterized by a culture focused on our traditions based on our core values safety, pride, engagement, development, and joy.

As a teacher in the after-school program at Ebba Pettersson's Private School's lower grades, you will be part of a team where you, together with colleagues in various roles, are responsible for planning, implementation, reflection, and evaluation of the full-day activities (school/kindergarten and after-school program). You will offer stimulating and challenging teaching and support through activities that contribute to students' development and learning, providing them with a meaningful and enjoyable school and leisure experience. You are well-grounded in current governing documents and are responsible for ensuring that the school works towards established goals and for the pedagogical development moving forward. We are primarily looking for someone with several years of experience working in schools, who is a licensed teacher in after-school programs or a leisure educator.

We would also like you to have an interest in practical-aesthetic activities such as music, drama, or outdoor education that you can work with and possibly spread within our organization.

You are a clear adult and thus a leader who is goal-oriented and values having a good relationship with students, parents, and colleagues. We also believe that you have good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written form.

Furthermore, we would like you to bring new ideas and thoughts to our organization. Great importance is placed on personal suitability in relation to our core values; pride, development, joy, engagement, and safety.

We apply a 6-month probationary period and the position will start in March 2025 or by agreement.
